New test wells proposed for Badger By Jeremiah Tucker Sauk Prairie Eagle (WI) August 14, 2008The town of Merrimac wants its residents to understand what the ground water contamination from the nearby Badger Army Ammunition Plant means to them. ...Citizens for Safe Drinking Water Around Badger Executive Director Laura Olah said the Army will install six new monitoring wells - three of which will be outside Badger near homes in Weigand's Bay - during the board's regular meeting on Aug. 5.
