Depot authority grants tenant leeway Reuse Commission status is in question By JOHN NORTON Pueblo Chieftain (CO) April 22, 2010The local panel that sublets property at the Pueblo Chemical Depot cautiously agreed Wednesday to give a tenant a little more time to get on its feet. The Pueblo Depot Activity Development Authority members agreed to let Cita Systems continue to stay in a specialized building, even though the company owes $30,750 in rent and property taxes. Cita provides specialized X-ray services and rented a building once used by the Army for similar processes. However, after moving in, its business dried up. Chuck Finley, the executive director of the authority, told board members that the authority has already paid $10,000 in property taxes and rent to the Army for the building. He said he was told by the tenant that the company was about to sign a major government contract. ...
