Air Force set to transfer land to McClellan Park By Robert D. Dávila Sacramento Bee (CA) June 3, 2010The Air Force will transfer 560 acres -- including industrial and office buildings, a hotel and housing -- to McClellan Park this summer under an agreement approved by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to a press release. The parcels are scattered across the former McClellan Air Force Base, which officially closed in 2001. Since then, much of the land has been turned over to McClellan Park, an industrial and office development. ...
