MIREMAR: Minimizing Risks for the Environment in Marine Ammunition Removal in the Baltic and North Sea

Neumuenster 16 to 18 November 2010

 

 

Dear military list readers,

please find attached the workshop program information for the MIREMAR Conference. All workshops are offered on the third day of MIREMAR (November 18, between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs).

We offer the following workshops:

 

Databases

Funding of joint projects

Combination of Technical Solutions, from Detection to Removal

Nature conservation and ammunition

Mitigation of Shock Waves from Detonations

Chemical DMM ? Still a WMD Threat?

 

Participants can choose the workshops using the online registration form at www.miremar.de

.

Practical demonstrations of water abrasive suspension cutting and salvage robots and explosion proof containers will be shown before the workshops. 

Alternatively, an excursion to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal "Gross Nordsee" can be booked at the conference. For your information I also attach the program of presentations at MIREMAR.
