Success story: Pease goes from shuttered base to economic engine

PORTSMOUTH - When Two International Group started construction on  
their first building at the Pease International Tradeport in 1998, Co- 
owner Renee Plummer asked a Wall Street Journal reporter covering the  
construction if it wasn't a beautiful sight.

"Renee, it's steel and concrete," the reporter replied.

But for the new entrepreneur who with her husband Dan Plummer was  
embarking on out-of-pocket speculation in a building project at a  
location that was only just beginning to find its footing in the  
economic world, it was much more than just steel and concrete.
