Hampton moves to safeguard Langley Air Force Base David Macaulay Hampton Roads Daily Press (VA) June 15, 2011New planning changes around Langley Air Force Base that were backed by the Hampton City Council last week are intended to ensure an encroachment situation like that seen around Oceana in Virginia Beach, doesn't happen in Hampton. Planning amendments to help safeguard the future of Langley Air Force Base were supported by the Hampton City Council last Wednesday.
