Fort Hood Lights the Way for Green Living with New Solar Field

A brighter day is dawning for Fort Hood when it comes to renewable  
energy.

The post broke ground today on a solar field that will provide some  
of the power for 300 homes.

Thousands of panels will be installed near the Liberty Village  
community by next spring.
