EPA weighs cleanup of nuclear waste at Bridgeton landfill BY JEFFREY TOMICH St. Louis Dispatch (MO) March 14, 2012BRIDGETON - Almost four years after federal regulators approved a plan to cover Cold War-era nuclear waste at a Bridgeton landfill, they’re weighing much more extensive clean-up options that involve excavating tons of contaminated soil.
