Air Force ready if BRAC becomes reality By Carlo Munoz The Hill April 5, 2012If DOD decides to begin a new round of base closures to save department dollars over the next decade, the Air Force should be ready. Service officials are already looking at condensing the number of potential bases for their incoming fleet of F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, Air Force Secretary Michael Donley said Thursday.
