Air Force selects Holloman AFB energy project developer by Air Force Real Property Agency Public Affairs July 3, 2012The Air Force has selected New Generation Biomass to develop a renewable energy project at Holloman AFB, N.M. that will use wood waste to create power for commercial use. Ms. Kathleen Ferguson, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Installations, approved New Generation's selection for the project 14 Jun 12. According to information provided by New Generation, the company will develop a 20 megawatt Black Bear Biomass Power Facility to provide energy security for the installation, jobs in the local community, and electrical power. ...
