You Are Invited to Webinar on Information Sharing Tools

Members of the public are invited to participate in a Web based
meeting which will showcase new developments in information
sharing tools. Please join us to see how federal agencies are
currently making environmental cleanup information available and
to explore enhanced data sharing tools.

This Webinar has been developed in response to stakeholder input from the
Federal Facility Cleanup Dialogue meetings, specifically it relates to the need
for more accessible and useable information about cleanup progress at federal
sites. There will be demonstrations of currently available information sharing
tools by the Department of Energy, Department of the Interior, the Navy and

EPA. In addition, the Socrata Company will demonstrate enhanced data sharing
tools as part of the Open Government Platform.  Following the presentations,
there will be an opportunity for participants to provide feedback on the
presentations and identify their information needs. We will use the feedback to
help develop a set of principles that agencies can use when sharing information
with the public.  Webinar presentations:

*	Department of Energy: Geospatial Environmental Mapping System
