TI enters $15M consent decree in Massachusetts radiation case D by Jeff Bounds Dallas Business Journal (TX) November 21, 2012Texas Instruments Inc. has agreed to pay $15 million to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the pollution of a Massachusetts site with radioactive waste. The payment was disclosed in a consent decree between the Dallas chip maker and the U.S. Justice Department of Justice filed late Wednesday in federal district court in Massachusetts. TI did not admit liability in the decree, which covers the company's alleged role in the pollution of the site in and near Attleboro, Mass., between roughly 1959 and 1981. ...
