Fort Irwin launches large-scale renewable energy project By Energy Initiatives Task Force June 6, 2013Barstow, Calif. - More than 170 representatives of the energy industry descended on Barstow, Calif., to meet with representatives from Fort Irwin, Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA) and the Army's Energy Initiatives Task Force (EITF) to discuss a recently released Request for Proposals (RFP) on a renewable energy project at Fort Irwin, Calif.
