Air Force seeks meeting with EPA over Pease order By Jeff McMenemy Seacoast Online (NH) July 13. 2015 PORTSMOUTH - The U.S. Air Force says it intends to ask for a meeting with Environmental Protection Agency officials after the EPA issued an order last week requiring them to treat the now-closed Haven well. Linda Geissinger, a public affairs specialist for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center – which has been working to help monitor the contamination of the city-owned well - said in a statement they will take advantage of a provision that allows them to ask for the meeting. William Walsh-Rogalski, a lawyer with the EPA’s regional office in Boston, sent a letter to U.S. Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James informing her about the 36-page administrative order.
