Join SERDP and ESTCP on Thursday, November 12 for key presentations highlighting Department of Defense (DoD) efforts in the Munition Response Program Area with a focus on the land based program closeout. First, David Wright from CH2M will discuss the lessons learned from a treatability study using advanced geophysical classification at the Former Camp San Luis Obispo, California. Second, John Jackson from the Army Corps of Engineers in Sacramento will talk about a risk reduction program at Fort Ord, California, which utilized advanced geophysical classification. Third, Doug Maddox, U.S. EPA’s Program Manager for Munitions Cleanup, will give closing remarks about the cleanup of munitions-contaminated sites.
