Defence developing 'masterplan' to address contamination at military bases

The Department of Defence has revealed it is reviewing past practices at bases around Australia to determine the extent of firefighting foam contamination, that is already affecting the Port Stephens community.

The firefighting foam was used for nearly half a century in every major military base around the country.
