Restoration of the groundwater will be addressed by the Navy Environmental Cleanup Program. The Navy has indicated it plans to test groundwater in areas within a half-mile radius of Fentress, according to a statement from Chesapeake officials. … For the entire article, see http://pilotonline.com/news/military/local/navy-contaminants-found-in-drinking-water-at-fentress-in-chesapeake/article_6f2be4bf-e5aa-5ce1-b5ca-f03e1154a8b6.html -- Lenny Siegel Executive Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight a project of the Pacific Studies Center 278-A Hope St., Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650/961-8918 or 650/969-1545 Fax: 650/961-8918 <lsiegel@cpeo.org> http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Military mailing list Military@lists.cpeo.org http://lists.cpeo.org/listinfo.cgi/military-cpeo.org | |
