First, Dr. Dan Steinhurst of Nova Research will discuss the results of a project where a marine towed array (MTA) was upgraded with advanced electromagnetic imaging (EMI) to support munitions classification efforts. Second, Dr. Gregory Shultz of White River Technologies will discuss nearshore munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) surveys conducted using bottom-crawling and hydraulically propelled, swimming autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) with integrated electromagnetic sensing systems.
