Alpena Well-Users Grow Restless, Awaiting Water Contamination Test Results by Aaron Parseghian 9&10 News (Cadillac, MI) November 16, 2017 It’s been more than a month since contaminated ground water was found at a military training facility in Alpena. Five wells at the Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena were found with very high concentrations of PFAS Studies show those chemicals, once used to extinguish fires, can cause health problems.
