Contamination clean up proposed at Yakima Training Center by Elayne Rojo-Rodriguez KIMA CBS TV News (Yakima, WA) August 3, 2020 YAKIMA COUNTY-- The Washington Department of Ecology and the U.S Army proposed an agreement providing a plan for cleaning up contaminated areas at the Yakima Training Center near Selah. According to the department of ecology, there are still 21 areas at the Yakima Training Center that do not meet soil or groundwater cleanup standards or need further investigation.
