According to a recent report by the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, Devens has sustained steady growth over the years. Total employment at Devens in 2020 is 6,092, compared to 4,977 in 2016, 4,030 in 2014 and 3,208 in 2012, the report said. “Devens, as shown in this report, has become a magnet for larger enterprises, notably manufacturers and distributors that need substantial sites for production and goods movement while still being near major population and jobs centers,” the report said.
