Environmentalists see hope that Biden Administration will get tough on PFAS Addition of PFOS, PFOA to federal Superfund list could free up funding for NY by Rick Karlin Albany Times-Union (NY) November 17, 2020 WASHINGTON -- Members of Congress plan to push president-elect Joe Biden to put two prevalent forms of PFAS chemicals – PFOA and PFOS – on the list of hazardous substances covered under the federal Superfund law, a leading lawmaker and environmentalist group said on Tuesday.
