Solidification/Stabilization to Manage PFAS in Soil, Sewage Sludge, & Landfill Leachate

Presenters:
  • Johnsie Lang, Arcadis will present the results of a field demonstration of PFAS leachability following in-situ soil stabilization
  • Paul Ruehl, Holcim (US) will present on the use of cement products for solidification/stabilization (S/S) of soil in-situ, and S/S of landfill leachate concentrate and the use of the treated leachate as alternative daily cover (ADC)
  • Yanna Liang, University of Albany will present a comparison of sorbents for stabilizing PFAS in soil and sewage sludge and innovative sorbents that have potential to outperform commercially available sorbents
 
Cost: the webinar is FREE for federal, state, and local government officials only (read Note 1 below). All others must pay with a credit card when registering. The fee is $75 with a reduced rate of $25 for non-governmental organizations, students, and academics (read Note 2 below
