This old missile base in the Marin Headlands could become a National Historic Landmark By Michael Cabanatuan San Francisco Chronicle (CA) October 10, 2022 An old missile base in the Marin Headlands that’s already part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area could become a National Historic Landmark as part of an effort to preserve pieces of the nation’s Cold War history.
