I am pleased to report that there will be an online screening of the critically acclaimed PFAS film documentary No Defense on Monday, April 3 at 3:30 pm Pacific time. This 2020 film documentary by former CNN correspondent and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Sara Ganim focuses on PFAS contamination at the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda, Michigan, which is the first reported U.S. military PFAS site in the world. The U.S. Department of Defense is the largest known PFAS polluter in the nation. DoD developed its PFAS playbook at Wurtsmith and set a terrible precedent of inaction, denial and retribution that is playing out at hundreds of PFAS contaminated military installations nationwide and around the world. No Defense provides a gripping account of the DoD PFAS debacle, the people who have been impacted by it, and how they are fighting back.

The screening is sponsored by the Sound Defense Alliance in Washington state. A panel discussion will follow the approximately 73 minute film screening. I will be a panelist.
