Missile site's TCE plume now approaching Sun City Lincoln Hills block By Carol Feineman Gold Country Media (CA) April 13, 2023 The trichloroethylene (TCE)-contaminated groundwater plume that traveled from the former Lincoln Titan 1 missile site at 401 Oak Tree Lane to properties across the street moved to and then retreated from a few Sun City Lincoln Hills’ backyards on Snapdragon Lane’s east side. That’s according to Sun City Lincoln Hills resident Anne Constantin Birge and the Center for Public Environmental Oversight (CPEO) Executive Director Lenny Siegel this week, basing their statement on maps produced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ contractor. Birge and Siegel are recommending considering an interim remedy to prevent further spread.
