News Release Environmental Working Group June 22, 2023 EWG applauds National Defense Authorization Act provisions tackling ‘forever chemicals’ WASHINGTON – Today the Environmental Working Group applauds the House Armed Services Committee for including several provisions to tackle the “forever chemicals”known as PFAS in the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2024. The bill, H.R. 2670, introduced by Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), passed through the panel last night.
