Are you planning on attending the 2003 Annual Brownfields Conference?
This year in Portland, OR the International City/County Management
Association will bring together three leading experts for a half-day
interactive workshop on economic growth strategies for Brownfields
practitioners, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.
“Brownfields 2020”
Sunday - October 26
10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
Storm Cunningham, author of the Restoration Economy
Tim Fields, Vice President of Tetra Tech, Inc. and
former Assistant Administrator of the U.S. EPA's
Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response
Joe Schilling, Director of Community and Economic
Development, ICMA
Integrated Restoration will be the dominant Brownfields strategy for
the next twenty years. Participate in this interactive leadership
workshop with a select group of the foremost thinkers and
practitioners on economic and community development to:
1. Discover the trends, organizations, and innovations that are
creating vital new resources, and a new breed of highly
profitable projects;
2. Learn how to leverage your Brownfields resources to make the
transition to Integrated Restoration;
3. Prepare your staff and organization for the multidisciplinary
approaches that will create profitable synergies among all eight
sectors of restorative development.
If you want to ensure that your company or agency can respond to the
latest Brownfields trends and developments, then you and your staff
should attend. This is a unique opportunity to interact with a dynamic
group of public and private sector leaders and help shape the future
direction of Brownfields redevelopment.
