Cal/EPA Announces New Round of Site Assessment Grant Funds

Cal/EPA is now accepting applications for the new Targeted Site
Investigation program (TSI).  TSI program funds
average $50,000 - $75,000 per project and are intended to assist local
municipalities, school districts and non-profit
organizations with such site assessment activities as:

          Preparing a sampling plan 
          Field work 
          Preparation of a follow-up report 
          Conducting a Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA) 
 
Last year, the first year for the TSI program, Cal/EPA funded eight
projects state-wide and is planning to provide a
similar amount of support this year.
