MCIDC continues development of ‘brown field’ site

LEWISTOWN - The Mifflin County Industrial Development Corp. continues to move toward developing the second portion of a "brown field" site located at the corner of Brown and Dorcas streets.
The first phase of the project, known as Mann Edge Terrace, was completed more than a year ago and the residents began moving into the 31-unit apartment complex in January 2013.
Environmental due diligence on the second undeveloped portion of the property has just about been completed, said MCIDC president Rob Postal.
