AEHS East Workshop 05; Vapor Intrusion Protection Cost-Effectiveness Simulation Tool (2.0)

You are invited to join a free virtual conference session focused on the latest advancements in vapor intrusion protection and cost-effectiveness strategies for hazardous waste cleanup. Session Highlights: • Exploration of project management strategies for maximizing cleanup efficiency and protecting community health in light of site datasets showing moderate to high temporal and spatial variability in indoor air concentrations. • Case studies, including a large Mountain West site and Fairbanks Gaffney, illustrating practical management of plumes over decades and the role of the built environment and topography. • In-depth discussion of VOC mass transport, storage in plumes and construction materials, and conceptual site models. • Introduction to the updated Vapor Intrusion Protection Cost-Effectiveness Simulation Tool (2.0), building on feedback from the Spring AEHS VI Workshop. • Interactive walkthrough of simulation cases and assumptions.
