60 new aircraft-related jobs for Beeville area

A $400,000 state grant will help build a facility that will bring 60 new
jobs to the former Naval Air Station Chase Field in Bee County.
Gov. Rick Perry awarded $2.5 million on Friday to five communities
affected by military base closure, including $400,000 to the Bee
Development Authority and $386,000 to the City of Ingleside. The
remaining grant money from the state's Defense Economic Adjustment
Assistance Grant program went to the Port of San Antonio, Brooks
Development Authority and Bowie.
