On November 20, 2000, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published an
Engineer Pamphlet (EP 75-1-2), "Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Support During
Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Construction
Activities." The pamphlet describes procedures for finding or avoiding
unexploded ordnance in the characterization and remediation of other
hazardous wastes as well as in support of construction activities.
