SUBJECT: Appointment of the New Director, Administration and Management,
and Director, Washington Headquarters Services

 Effective this date, Mr. Raymond F. DuBois will assume the duties of
the Director of Administration and Management, Office of the Secretary
of Defense, and the Director, Washington Headquarters Services.  He will
perform these duties in addition to his current duties as the Deputy
Under Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment).  He will
report to the Deputy Secretary and me.
