Folks, Apologies if you have been on the receiving end of alot of email threads of late concerning IEL. But frankly, I trust that most of you can appreciate and will understand the relevance to your own sites around the country with rads. We unfortunately quite early on recognized, and have thus, put forth the belief: ...If they can get away with it here in Ohio at IEL, the so called "Heartland", at our very "high profile" Superfund Site for over a decade, designated by USEPA as the # 1 case in six states within the Region... .and yet, so many dirty tricks concerning proper testing...abuses, going against so called, "gold standards/ best available science still managed to prevail - with zero scientific accountability - despite what DOE, NRC, R & D scientists within US EPA and indep. academics all conveyed. But, when you read the attached accounting from back in 1998, that is precisely what the SAB panel concluded -rubberstamping the continued usage of the EPA FInished Drinking Water 900 Methods, never meant all agencies told us, for untreated toxic dump waste water! This letter was sent to then National EPA Ombudsman, Robert Martin, who was later embroiled, midstream with investigating the radiation scandal at Uniontown IEL - when Martin and his assistant, Hugh Kaufman had their files confiscated, including IELs', and sent over to the EPA IG Tinsley's Office. Reportedly, Martin was stripped of all his independent investigatory powers to investigate potentially wrong doing AT USEPA... . Chris for CCLT/Uniontown IEL, OH Sent from my iPhone Attachment:
