This is fantastic, Darlene! Thanks so much. This hearing, reportedly organized by Bob Alvarez ( from Ohio, Youngstown area, went to the Dana School of Music) - was convened smack in the middle of the IEL scandal when the back to back readings of man-mades got tossed out by EPA, performed by CEP and the Florida labs. High Tritium was reported over Fed. limits of 20,000 pico curies in our residents' private drinking water wells. Please carefully review especially Glenn's quizzing of Dod, Dan Reicher's testimony ( where we found luckily footnoted, the source of the hearing - S.Cohen & Assoc., curiously the outfit who a few weeks later was given the task by EPA of conducting all Fed. EPA's rad testing at IEL ( after the two commercial labs got smeared royally). We strongly believe this is one reason Tom Grumbly had advised EPA about "double blind studies"...Did S. Cohen have among the 803 Ohio sites Uniontown IEL?? That's what the Congressional staffer who sent me the full text of this hearing told me was their goal to find out... Supposedly, they never did. And after the hearing, things appeared to go sideways.
NOTE: Please also be sure to read very carefully the entire testimony presented by US EPA's Michael Shapiro. From what we understood, he was right arm to Tim Fields back then. You all know the story about Ombudsman Robert Martin being removed off our case in mid stream, his files confiscated, his independence, powers to investigate possible corruption at US EPA stripped!
Vina and I have spent decades concerned about the various implications wrought from this Glenn Hearing....
