However, the topic might be of interest to others on the list. =^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^==^=^== ^=^= MAKING THE CLEANUP PROCESS WORK FOR YOU WORKING WITH ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS ON BROWNFIELDS SITES A workshop for CDCs and community groups April 7, 9 am - 12:30 pm Tufts School of Medicine * Sackler Building * 145 Harrison Ave. * Boston, MA How can a community group hire and manage technical assistance? In Massachusetts, environmental professionals, called licensed site professionals (LSPs), assess and make clean-up recommendations on potentially contaminated properties, or brownfields. Community developers and neighborhood-based groups need to rely on the knowledge and expertise of these environmental professionals to guide them through the clean up process. In this workshop, you will learn: * When you need to hire a professional. * How to find the right one. * What you can do to get the most out of your relationship. Presenters will include licensed site professionals, and experienced community developers from Nuestra Communidad, a CDC.
