ICMA Calls for Applicants to the Brownfield 2002 Travel Scholarship
Program 

The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) is pleased
to sponsor a limited number of full and partial scholarships for
individuals interested in attending the Brownfields 2002: Investing in
the Future conference who would otherwise not be able to attend without 
financial assistance. The scholarship program will ensure diverse 
brownfields stakeholder groups' participation in the conference. Full 
scholarships will cover travel (e.g., airfare and/or mileage), up to 
three nights' hotel accommodations (room and tax only), and the federal 
government per diem for three days. Partial scholarships will cover 
hotel accommodations (room and tax only) and a $75 spending allowance. 

If you are a representative of a non-profit or community organization
working on brownfields, community redevelopment, and/or environmental
justice issues, please apply now for a travel scholarship to Brownfields 
2002: Investing in the Future, the premiere national conference on 
brownfields.  Although scholarships will be awarded in most cases to 
those who have not had the opportunity to attend the conference in 
recent years, special consideration will be given to non-profit and 
environmental justice representatives. Apply now at <

The deadline to apply is August 2, 2002, but eligible applicants are
