[CPEO-BIF] New Brownfields RFP

The following is in reference to EPA's Proposal Guidelines for
Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance Grants and
Cooperative Agreements, details of which can be seen on the web at:
http://www.epa.gov/brownfields/html-doc/pg0203_1.htm.

These guidelines provide eligible applicants an opportunity to apply for
federal funding for brownfields-related training, research or technical
assistance. Deadline for applications is April 14, 2003. Please note
that applications that are sent via United States Postal Service may not
arrive at EPA for several weeks due to the screening and irradiation
process necessary for security purposes.

EPA plans to provide pre-application assistance in the form of an open
meeting. The tentative date for the meeting is March 14, 2003. EPA will
post time and location information for the meeting on this web site in
the near future.
