Hi Larry, 
	I got this through the CPEO list serve.  Can I get any
information on the bakery?  I'd love to use it in a presentation at some
point.  In some ways, there is a nice parallel effect to it; the
original Ben and Jerry's started on an abandoned gas station site.   
	Also, the bakery might make a good Phoenix Award nominee at some
point.
	Thanks, and always good to hear from you, even if from a list of
thousands!

I have worked with two faith-based organizations that are using the
brownfield initiative in NY. One build a bakery to hire "hard-to-hire"
people to make brownies for Ben & Jerry's. The other organization has
been involved in the NY brownfield legislative debate because of the
opportunity that brownfields will provide for creating new housing in
NYC.
