Please forward as appropriate: SAVE THE DATE Saturday, May 1, 2004 CPEO, in cooperation with the Jersey City Department of Public Works and community leaders from Jersey City's Morris Canal Area, will present an all-day (8:30 am to 5:30 pm) workshop, "Introduction to Brownfields: A Workshop for Community Members," at County Prep High School (Formerly Vo-Tech), 525 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, New Jersey. Though the event will be open to everyone, the target audience is community stakeholders from northern New Jersey and southern New York. Four panel sessions will address the following topics: * Community Involvement * The Regulatory Framework * Public Health * Project Financing In addition, there will be time set aside for personal and organizational networking. Registration will be free, but we will request a $10 donation to cover food expenses.
