Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] Guardian Trust launches web site |
Submitted by Bruce-Sean Reshen <breshen@mgppartners.com> The Guardian Trust, a public/private partnership providing for the long-term stewardship of environmentally contaminated properties, has initiated its web site. The web site will explain the purposes, functions and services of the Trust. It will also serve as a conduit for a better understanding of the role of engineering and land use controls, and intensive long-term oversight in protecting human health and the environment. The ultimate role of The Guardian Trust is to ensure this protection while facilitating safe redevelopment and reuse of contaminated sites. The URL of the web site is <http://www.theguardiantrust.org>. It is our hope that the web site will facilitate broad discussion of the issues connected with long-term stewardship and serve as a resource for communities interested in these issues. Inquiries may be addressed to <info@theguardiantrust.org>. -- Lenny Siegel Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight c/o PSC, 278-A Hope St., Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650/961-8918 or 650/969-1545 Fax: 650/961-8918 <lsiegel@cpeo.org> http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Brownfields mailing list Brownfields@list.cpeo.org http://www.cpeo.org/mailman/listinfo/brownfields | |
