Senate Panel Passes Interior-Environment Spending Bill June 10 -- On June 9, the Senate Appropriations Committee approved a $28.3 billion spending bill (currently unnumbered) funding Department of Interior and environmental programs. The full Senate is expected to debate the bill during the week of June 13. The bill provides $100 million more in funding than its House counterpart (HR 2361), which was passed on May 19, but $500 million less than current funding. ...
