Panel disqualifies brownfield project By Violet Law PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW (PA) Wednesday, November 16, 2005 Allegheny County's Air Pollution Control Advisory Committee unanimously rejected Tuesday using money from the Clean Air Fund for demolition work at a brownfield site in Duquesne -- a proposal approved by the county's Board of Health. The Board of Health voted Nov. 3 to use $1.3 million from the county's $7.4 million fund to help the Regional Industrial Development Corp. remove 15 crumbling, asbestos-laden blast-furnace stoves from the former USX steel mill site in Duquesne City Center. ...
