Brownfield ready for development Yvonne Teems Dayton Business Journal (OH) November 21, 2005 A Dayton industrial park can be redeveloped after getting the go-ahead from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The city's 11.1-acre property on Detrick Street was approved by the Ohio EPA as suitable for commercial or industrial redevelopment. A company already located on an adjacent four acres in Tech Town, Select Industries Corp., made a lease-to-purchase agreement with the city to buy the property. The EPA's approval makes it easier for property developers to find lenders. With the approval, the Ohio EPA is not allowed to sue the owner for past releases of hazardous substances. ...
