DDA negotiates deal for Belle Park condos Developer David Lieberman agrees to Brownfield guidelines By William Zilke Belleville View (MI) December 22, 2005 The Belleville Downtown Development Authority and developer David Lieberman came to terms with a development and reimbursement agreement on Tuesday night at a special meeting. The Belleville City Council had to first approve the addition of the Amerman Lumber Company property, the future site of the Belle Park Condominiums, to the boundaries of the DDA. In the pact, Lieberman agreed to incur demolition and environmental response, infrastructure and site preparation costs for activities constituting eligible activities on the property beyond the normal costs for development of the developer's improvement because of the property's former industrial and obsolete status. ...
