Brownfield sprouts produce firm Distributor is moving to Bethlehem Commerce Center. By Nicole Radzievich Allentown Morning Call (PA) January 19, 2006 Bethlehem Commerce Center has captured its next tenant, Primo Number One in Produce, as part of its planned $1 billion redevelopment of former Bethlehem Steel land. The local company, founded 15 years ago by brothers George Paxos and Don Petridis bought property to build a $10 million warehouse and office. Primo distributes produce ranging from tomatoes and bananas to edible flowers and lemongrass. The company plans to keep about 30 workers at its warehouse in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, and move about 100 to Bethlehem. Another 30 or so workers will be hired to work in the future 75,000- to 100,000- square-foot warehouse. ...
