MORAN Chester Daily Local (PA) January 30, 2006 WEST GOSHEN -- Construction will soon begin on Lincoln Independence Park here, five industrial/flex space condominium buildings on once-distressed land that has now been cleaned up. Keystone Community Alliance of West Chester is developing the nearly 182,000-square-foot project, on 14 acres of brownfields formerly owned by Trans-Materials Concrete Co. It's off Lincoln Avenue, behind the VFW hall. A brownfield is abandoned, idled or underused industrial or commercial land where real or perceived environmental contamination complicates expansion or redevelopment plans. Partners in Keystone Community Alliance are Senya Isayeff and Bob Casciato, who are also partners in Alliance Environmental Systems Inc. nearby, plus Rufo Contracting of Conshohocken, builders of the project. ...
