Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] BNA Audioconference on All Appropriate Inquiries |
BNA will host an audioconference Feb. 21 on All Appropriate Inquiries and Beyond: Key Issues and Post-Purchase Considerations. The expert panel will discuss EPA's final AAI rule and the impact it will have on due diligence, liability protections, and real estate transactions. Panelists for the forum include Jeff Civins, a partner in the law firm of Haynes and Boone LLP in Austin, Texas; David Freeman, a partner with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in New York City; and Julie Kilgore, principal, Wasatch Environmental, and member of EPA's Negotiated Rulemaking Committee for All Appropriate Inquiry. During the 90-minute session, the panel will provide their unique insights on how AAI will work in the marketplace and help listeners understand the limitations of AAI and what additional steps must be considered to maximize liability protection and the chances for a successful contaminated property deal. The session will wind up with an interactive question-and-answer session where listeners can e-mail or call in to ask the panelists questions. Continuing legal education credit is available to participants.
