Missouri approves $4.1 million in Brownfield Tax Credits St. Louis Business Journal February 21, 2006 Gov. Matt Blunt announced Tuesday the approval of state tax credits to help launch an $82 million rehabilitation of the Syndicate Trust Building. Once developed, the 16-story Syndicate Trust, at 915-923 Olive St., is slated to house several new businesses and support at least 268 new jobs, according to a release. The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved up to $4.1 million in Brownfield Redevelopment Program remediation tax credits for the turn-of-the-20th century building. The tax credits will help offset costs involved in the cleanup of environmentally hazardous materials at the site, which has been vacant for the past decade. ...
